This role is responsible for purchasing the materials requirement planning, relationships with suppliers, and coordination of forecasting production to meet demands and ensure success. Some of the daily duties include:

- Implement and execute existing purchasing strategies.
- Manage daily purchasing activities
- Forecast price and market trends to identify changes of balance in buyer-supplier
- Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness
- Ensure all procured items meet the required qualify standards and specifications
- Resolve vendor or contractor grievances, and claims against suppliers
- Analyze market and delivery systems to assess present and future material availability
