This position reports into The Scientific & Regulatory Team in Quality Assurance. This Team sets regulatory-related Food Safety and Product Quality Standards through research and communicates those learnings through specification standard setting and management. The Team also provides food label development & review for all Mizkan and third-party products and provides leadership & technical management for export, claims and certifications such as Organic, Halal, Kosher, and Non-GMO Project. This position is responsible for issuing, organizing, and controlling change management part of the Team functions. The incumbent is part of the technical service pool in support of other core Quality functions as assigned. This job description reflects assignment of essential functions. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Obtain or develop, organize, manage, distribute and track specifications and regulatory documentation of all types through Interspec (sauces) and additional MPO systems as necessary.
Assist in obtaining and publishing necessary technical specification information in supporting of NPD product launch and Design Review process.
Create derivative specifications such as Customer Finished Product Specifications based on the Primary specifications.
Assist in quality system future state projects and activities.
Assist with export, certifications & claims processes as assigned.
Drive and deliver quality and regulatory related projects and/or tasks as identified.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's Degree in Food Science or related fields is desired.
Exposure to nutrition labeling, claims and certifications process is a big plus.
Experience in food industry technical documentation approval and handling process.
Strong skills in Office suites and databases. Word, Excel and PowerPoint are required; Share Point and Access are desired.
Demonstrated ability to handle and accurately track multiple projects and timelines simultaneously, and project execution leadership is strongly desired.
Detail oriented, accurate, aspire to continuous learning and improving are critical success attributes.
Ability to effectively prioritize, organize, and execute tasks in a fast paced, high performance, cross functional team-based culture, and passion about delivering tangible results.
