POSITION: Quality Technician

DEPARTMENT: Production

Location: Wapato, WA

Hours: Full-time (6AM - 4:30PM, Monday - Thursday)

Pay: Starting @ $19.00/hr (Depends on Experience)

Reports To: Production Manager

Patriot Companies, LLC is currently looking for a Quality Technician to partner with us and our customers. The quality technician is an important role for our growing company. They report directly to the quality manager and work closely with engineering, production, shipping and customers.

Job Responsibilities Include but are not limited to:

• Help with the Total Quality Management System.
• Use precision measurement equipment and go/no-go gauges to ensure product built to standards.
• Collect and analyze quality metrics for customers and senior management.
• Measure and record data for parts for First Article Inspections and ISIRs.
• Conduct production parts sample verification.
• Audit manufacturing and business processes.
• Quarantine Non-Conforming Parts and work with the Materials Review Board.
• Help create systems and process, as well as measuring parts to prevent quality escapes.
• Promote awareness of customer requirements.
• Maintain calibration equipment and systems.
• Ensures Jigs, Go/No Go Gauges are recorded and calibrated.
• Assists in Quality Alerts and addressing Non-Conformances.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment.

Necessary Skills:

• Ability to read Blue Prints/Drawings and use them to determine part conformance.
• Familiarity with Precision Measurement Equipment (ie. Calipers, pin gauges, height gauge, protractor, radius gauge, etc.).
• Ability to read a tape measure.
• Good basic math skills.
• Ability to use Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word with some competence.
• Good writing and verbal communication and ability to interact respectfully with coworkers at all levels of the organization and with customers.

Preferred Additional Skills: (Or expected to be learned through On-the-Job Training)

• Understanding of GD&T
• Use of FARO Arm and CAM2
• 8Ds to address non-conformances
• Solidworks/EDraw
• Some understanding of ISO 9001 and AS9100

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $19.00 per hour
