JOB SUMMARY
Conduct private lessons and group clinics for both adults and children at the Sea Pines Racquet Club.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct private lessons and group clinics
- Represent the Resort and Department in a positive manner
- Assist with court maintenance procedures.
- Assist with exhibitions, events, tournaments, and other functions held at the Racquet Club
- Flexibility to work weekends, weekdays and holidays as needed.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Moderate physical work including the ability to lift a maximum of 50 lbs
- Standing for extended periods of time (4-6 hours)
- Hand eye coordination to wield a tennis racquet, vision to correct participant mistakes
- Hearing and speech to communicate with participants and employees
WORK ENVIRNMENT
- Works outdoors in all weather conditions
QUALIFICATIONS
- College degree and competitive playing experience preferred
- Strong interpersonal and team player skills
- Ability to promote and teach private and group lessons to juniors and adults.
- Ability to string is preferred.
- Ability to tolerate hot and humid weather and any other weather conditions.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- College degree and competitive playing experience
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
- PTR and/or USPTA certified
