Race Chase Services a FedEx contractor is hiring Full-time and Part-time-weekend Delivery Drivers to service the areas of Fayetteville, Spring Lake, and Cameron, NC. We operate from the Raeford and Hope Mills/Fayetteville terminals. Candidates must be hardworking, efficient, dependable, and trustworthy. Compensation:

$135/day starting pay, with pay raise after training completion

Qualifications:

• Preferred having at least 1 year of verifiable on-the-job driving experience within the past 3 years *OR* 5 years of experience within the past 10 years (Uber, food delivery, church van, etc. can also qualify)
• MUST be 21 years of age or older
• Must possess a valid driver’s license
• Authorized to work in the US
• Must pass a criminal background check, motor vehicle record check, DOT physical, and drug testing (pre-employment and on-going random checks)

Driver Requirements:

• Clean driving record (No excessive speeding tickets, reckless driving, DUI, etc.)
• No felonies / No misdemeanors related to drugs, violence, theft, or fraud in the last 10 years
• Capable of meeting the physical demands of delivering 100+ stops each day
• Able to safely lift and carry up to 150 lbs with a hand truck
• Attention to detail in following safety regulations, delivery instructions, and turn-by-turn directions
• Flexible and adaptable in handling varying workloads, delivery areas, and deadlines
• Have reliable transportation to and from the Terminal each day

Job Responsibilities:

• Load, sort, deliver, and pick up packages
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and safely operate a delivery vehicle
• Accurately use a scanner to track deliveries
• Complete logs, reports, and training modules as required
• Follow DOT regulations and safety standards at all times
• Provide exceptional customer service
• Work as a team to help other drivers as needed
• Keep the vehicle interior clean

Schedule:

• FT 5 days (Wed-Sun) or 6 days (Wed-Mon) available
• PT weekend schedules available
• Start at 7:30 am
• Home Daily
