Job Summary
Receivers are responsible for receiving, and processing deliveries and accounting for incoming deliveries based on invoices and receiving reports. General duties range from receiving deliveries, following inventory sheet, storing items, and following an organized flow of goods.
Requirements:Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Receive, store, ship, and deliver incoming and outgoing department packages and mail
2. Verify quantity and condition of packages upon receipt prior to confirming invoice
3. Maintain organized work station
4. Maintain accurate tracking system on all shipping and receiving transactions.
5. Communicate with proper management regarding any loss or damage with deliveries.
This position is a pivotal role for the Kitchen/Back of House department. It is a requirement to be proactive, and driven to enable the kitchen to run smoothly and efficiently.
Skills Required The applicant should have:
1. 2+ years experience in a direct titled Receiver/ Warehouse role
2. Excellent time management
3. A proactive attitude
4. Highly organized
5. Previous restaurant or hotel inventory experience
6. High school diploma or equivalent is required
7. Knowledge of Open Table, Microsoft Word, Excel, Gmail, and MICROS operating system
