REGIONAL BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER – MEDICAL FLIGHT SERVICES Job at CSI Aviation, Inc.

Travel Required 50-75%. Majority of work performed throughout rural New Mexico and Texas, where in person site visits are required. Business Travel Expenses will be paid starting at either the CSI Aviation base in Albuquerque, NM or the base in Killeen, TX. Successful candidates are responsible for either living in one of those geographic areas or commuting to one of those bases at their own expense.

Total Compensation comprised of base salary plus incentive pay.

Job Summary

Responsible to build, manage, and execute the sales plan in collaboration with the Vice President for an assigned sales area. Effectively sell and market to prospective customers and actively pursue business development opportunities and marketing projects. Tasked with soliciting, receiving, and responding to requests for medical air transportation, using both organizational resources and third-party air carriers. Organizational expert regarding local and regional air ambulance markets, processes, payees, competitors, and business operations. Familiar with all aspects of air ambulance transportation, medical personnel transportation, and organ transplant operations including ordering entities, operational considerations and payment systems and entities.

Essential Tasks/Functions:

· Develop and implement a call cycle comprised of face-to-face, email, and phone contacts in assigned territory

· Generate leads and identify opportunities with both hospital and EMS partners across the assigned territory

· Accountable for KPI’s to include medical transport requests and transport volumes

· Achieve sales goals by creating and implementing a territory sales plan in assigned area

· Negotiate contracts or preferred provider agreements with hospital and EMS partners

· Closely monitor competitor activities within the industry and providing leadership with competitive intelligence updates

· Establish long term relationships with new and existing customers in a hospital and EMS setting

· Work closely with operational and clinical teams to identify new opportunities for growth in the market

· Coordinate with flight services entities to support aviation operations

· Coordinate and communicate changes to flight itineraries with customers when necessary

· Anticipate aircraft equipment needs for passenger, cargo and air ambulance flights based on market needs

· Relay departure, arrival, delay, aircraft and airfield status, and other pertinent information to various stakeholders

· Identify appropriate aircraft for various types of air transportation requirements

· Develop a thorough understanding of the billing process and effectively communicate pricing and out of pocket costs to hospital and EMS partners

· Outside sales, frequent business travel (typically by road) required

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Minimum Requirements:

Education: AA or 3 years of Medical Sales or Air Medical experience

Background: Must pass a background investigation

Experience: Customer Service experience working with external customers. Demonstrated or documented ability to drive sales, negotiate contracts, and close a deal.
Computer Skills: Microsoft office: Word, Excel and Power Point
