About The Opportunity

Acquire new regional corporate travel business in accordance to targets set. Implement strategies and processes to develop corporate relationships with key decision makers in organisations to create new sales opportunities via means of corporate networking, client profiling, cold calling. Presents products and services in a compelling financial and operational offering to ensure maximisation of client travel spend and FCTG profitability. To work closely with the Regional Sales and Network Leaders to drive new business wins for the FCM global network

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure high level of business development activity to ensure conversion meets required target,
  • Ensure business is won maintaining minimum net margin levels
  • Responsibilities 60% Regional Sales and 40% National large market sales focus
  • Build and maintain a minimum 80 key flagship large market, multi-national prospects
  • Ensure required number of face to face appointments are achieved per week and month
  • Leverage networks within FCTG & client organisations to expand networks for business acquisition
  • Utilise Salesforce system as CRM platform for tracking of all client activity
  • Completion of Bid no Bid process on all bids that are 2 markets or more.
  • Attend overseas and local sales presentations where required to represent the LATAM region
  • Qualify clients needs incl budgetary, product, service
  • Identify gaps & effectively counter issues or concern
  • Counter competitor pitches
  • Negotiate mutually agreeable outcomes whilst optimising margin levels
  • Manage efficient bid & tender projects
  • Ability to write bids in English and Portuguese where required and demand dictates
  • Identify key sources of data to determine competitive edge
  • Preparation of rigorous business case to client
  • Ensure responses are professional and delivered in full and on time and utilise Salesforce system as CRM platform for tracking of all client activity
  • Contracting, Implementation & transition of client to transacting
  • Effective handover to Regional and National account management teams, once contract signed
  • Retention & optimisation of client transactions
  • Attend team and global sales meetings, trainings and conferences
  • Organize and Support Sales Trainings for LATAM Partners.

Experience & Qualifications

  • Ability to build and grow business networks to convert to business opportunities.
  • Understand trends in the LATAM market and identify potential opportunities.
  • Use drive arounds in areas to identify new business opportunities.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Develop relationships with key suppliers and business leaders.
  • Ability to identify all stakeholders and decision makers within the business and deliver appropriate pitches/solutions relevant to their position/objectives.
  • Ability to cross sell all products and solution suites.
  • Strong Knowledge of travel market & associated impacts.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement trends, ‘Total Cost of Ownership” decision making & ability to demonstrate “Return on Investment (ROI)” of our products and services within the client organization.
  • Ability to demonstrate a clear ROI model for client capturing both tangible and intangible benefits of Brand’s products and solutions to the client organization
  • Ability to project manage a bid or tender process liaising with the required stakeholders
  • Numerical skills: Ability to quickly evaluate & analyse value offered by a competitor
  • Familiar with pricing models and minimum margin & net profit levels
  • High level communication skills
  • Able to persuade & influence those who are not interested in service to make a change to another provider
  • Multi-tasks by managing a range of tasks and activities on a daily basis
