Job Summary:

We are looking for a full-time, Maintenance Technician for our North Carolina properties in Clingman, Jonesville, Millers Creek, Wilkesboro, Mount Airy and Boone. This position requires a hands-on approach and regular travel to all locations to inspect buildings, equipment, and systems for any issues. They will schedule repairs for faulty equipment or damaged structures and will also perform general maintenance of the facility and grounds. Company truck will be provided.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Inspect and repair stores equipment and machines including but not limited to; commercial ice machines, refrigerators, hot water heaters, walk-in coolers, HVAC's,
• Remain compliant with all required training.
• Purchase building and maintenance supplies with approval from management.
• Willing to take direction well from onsite and corporate personnel.
• Perform tasks such as: minor plumbing repairs, electrical repairs, carpentry, power-washing, appliance checks, routine preventative maintenance and any other miscellaneous tasks.
• Work with store managers to schedule weekly site visits based upon property’s maintenance needs.
• Willing and able to travel to any and all necessary locations

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2-5 years of Maintenance experience required
• Technical, vocational or on-the-job training in at least one of the following areas: HVAC, electrical, mechanical, process controls, mechanical power transmissions, painting, plumbing, carpentry or engine repair.
• HVAC experience and certification required
• Carpentry experience/certification
• Maintenance Skills
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent

Requirements:

• Clean driving record: Company Truck will be provided.
• Ability to work scheduled hours consistently as well as overtime when necessary.
• Ability to travel to different locations as needed.
• Regularly required to stand, walk, reach, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl.
• Must be able to lift up-to 85-100 pounds occasionally.
