Job Description:

  • Environment of Care (EOC), Original Equipment Manufacture (OEM), Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS), Hospital-wide Policies & Procedures, Departmental Policies & Procedures

2.

  • Mission , Function, Diversity, Structure, Chain of Command

Department Meetings

  • Attendance, Involvement, Training

Department Appearance and Dress Code

  • Employee must present a professional image and wear appropriate dress required to perform their job safely.

Vehicle Use

  • Driving etiquette, fueling, and checking in / out

7.

Attends all required safety training programs and can describe his/her responsibilities related to general safety, department/service safety, specific job related hazards, and national patient safety goals.

  • Manages difficult or emotional customer situations
  • Responds promptly to customer needs
  • Solicits customer feedback to improve service
  • Responds to requests for service and assistance

Troubleshoots and maintains minor equipment and systems in common areas.

2.

Performs minor electrical, plumbing, mechanical and HVAC duties.

3.

Interprets verbal and written instructions and corrective maintenance work orders

4.

Must have knowledge of parts ordering procedures

5.

Must have knowledge of Infection Control standards for Healthcare occupancies.

6.

Maintains a clean and safe work environment.

7.

Must acquire general knowledge of the facility within 30 days.

8.

Ability to recognize facility maintenance issues and know who to report them to. ( Eyes Wide Open )

Minimum Education, Experience, Training, and Licensures Required:

High School diploma or G.E.D. required. EXPERIENCE: Two years experience in maintenance or construction required.
