Job Description
Job Title: Repair Technician
Location: Richmond, Kansas
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Reports To: Director of Production
Hours: Monday - Friday
Job Summary
This position is responsible for installing, repairing or replacing of materials on current and former buildings.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Estimate materials for billable and warranty repairs.
- Engage with customers during warranty, billable repairs, and current builds.
- Manage service repair on site.
- Work closely with the Production Team to assure repairs are done in a timely manner.
- Provide the highest customer service possible.
- Travel within a 120 mile radius making sales calls.
- Collect payments as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
- Comply with QSI policies and procedures.
Education and/or Experience
- Any combination of job related experience and/or training, which would produce the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
- Prior construction experience is required.
- QSI provides on-the-job training
Knowledge, Abilities, and Skills
- Ability to perform tasks accurately, effectively and in a timely manner.
- Must be able to multitask, possess good communications skills (written & verbal).
- Must be detailed oriented and have the ability to work under time constraints.
- Ability to interface with customers, suppliers, crews and personnel.
- Ability to maintain file systems.
- Ability to operate a computer, Microsoft office and other general office equipment.
- Ability to safely perform major job responsibilities with reasonable accommodations.
- Must have a clean driving record and valid driver’s license
Weight & Lift Requirements
- Must be able to lift at least 60lbs.
- Lifting anything greater than 80lbs requires additional personnel and utilizing a dolly or forklift if possible.
Wage
- Wage is based on experience.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
