Save The Michaels of the world (Proud Winner of the National Safety Council Green Cross 2020 Safety Advocate of the Year Award) is expanding it's footprint into Niagara County and looking to hire four Male responsible, dedicated, compassionate full time overnight treatment monitors to ourNEWFANE NY Newly remodeled Residential Reintegration Center. The position includes a $500 bonus at first 6 continuous months and a $1,000 bonus at first 12 continuous months of employment.

The Overnight Treatment monitor (12 midnight to 8:00am) serves as a night attendant assigned to an all male residential living unit. The primary responsibility of this position is to remain awake and alert during the clients sleeping hours, making regular direct rounds and observations of the sleeping areas as well as the rest of the unit. This employee is also responsible for waking the clients in the morning and ensuring that the established routine is followed.

Essential Job Duties:

1. Responsible for the direct supervision of the residents during overnight and early a.m. hours

2. assists clients with living skills such as decision making, personal control, interpersonal communication and problem solving, dressing, grooming and eating

3. Instructs and monitors to ensure that the overnight and early a.m. routine, structure and habilitative programming is maintained and all related standards are met

4. Supervises and assists in transporting clients as required

5. Manages a clean and safe work environment

6. Assists in the implementation of residents treatment plan as necessary

7. Interacts with residents in ways that are therapeutic, respectful and trauma sensitive

8. Utilizes preventative and de-escalation techniques that are consistent with Therapeutic Crisis Intervention

9. Completes all required paperwork ( rounds chart, monthly summaries, daily logs etc.)

10. Performs other appropriate duties as may be required by the supervisor

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $32,000.00 - $38,000.00 per year
