We are taking applications now for a Restaurant Maintenance Technician in the Columbia, SC area.

Job description

Install, diagnose, calibrate, repair and/or perform preventive maintenance on commercial cooking, refrigeration, and HVAC systems throughout the Columbia, SC area.

Skill-sets should include the ability to:

• Diagnose commercial cooking and refrigeration equipment performance such as fryers, grills, coolers and ice machines through observation, testing and setup.
• Disassemble and re-assemble equipment to perform troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, calibration and/or repair.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, gauges, and measuring instruments to perform service of the unit.
• Operate a company motor vehicle as evidenced by past driving performance record and to adhere to all company safety requirements.
• Work independently, under pressure, and without close supervision; willing and able to consistently work the schedule required by job demands.

Requirements:

• High school graduate/GED/or equivalent
• Good driving record and valid NC Driver's License
• Minimum 2 years experience with servicing commercial cooking equipment and refrigeration equipment such as Walk-in Coolers, Ice Makers, and Reach-in Refrigerators.
• Good customer service skills.
• Must be able to meet on call requirements when scheduled for evening and weekend overtime service calls.
• Proficient with basic computer skills.
