Restaurant Server/Bartender (Part-time or On-call) Job at DoubleTree by Hilton Monroeville
The DoubleTree by Hilton Monroeville is looking for a Part-Time or On-Call Restaurant Server/Bartender. You will support the hotel Restaurant and Bar. It's a great opportunity to help in different areas of the busy hotel when taking on a full time job might not be what you are interested in. If interested, you could also help in the banquet area if it does not conflict with working in the restaurant.
Responsibilities
- Prepare restaurant tables with special attention to sanitation and order
- Prepare and serve banquet events in the hotel meeting rooms
- Attend to customers upon entrance
- Present restaurant menus and help customers select food/beverages
- Take and serve orders in restaurant
- Answer questions or make recommendations for complementary products
- Collaborate with other restaurant servers and kitchen/bar staff
- Deal with complaints or problems with a positive attitude
- Issue bills and accept payment
Requirements and skills
- Proven restaurant and/or bartending experience
- Hands-on experience in cashier duties
- Attention to cleanliness and safety
- Patience and customer-oriented approach
- Excellent people skills with a friendly attitude
- Responsible and trustworthy
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $8.00 - $10.00 per hour
