Retail Receptionist Job at James Free Jewelers
Retail Front Desk Receptionist position is for a bright and energetic team player who is detail-oriented, has a strong work ethic and takes ownership of their work. You must be able to juggle multiple projects, work effectively in a fast-paced environment, meet deadlines and work independently while keeping a positive and professional demeanor. The Director of First Impressions must be an upbeat and learning-based individual with great communication skills. As the first person to interact with our Guests, the position is a crucial role that reflects upon the entire company.
On a daily basis, the Greeter position will:
- Presents a professional appearance as face of the institution
- Greet guests, always maintaining a courteous, friendly and helpful attitude
- Ensures that arriving Guests are welcomed and attended to in a fashion that creates an extraordinary experience
- Respects the privacy of all guests and staff
- Answer phones and direct incoming calls with a high level of energy and professionalism
- Distribute messages to appropriate staff
- Assist managers with all other assigned duties.
- Demonstrates ongoing responsibility and commitment through good attendance and by being on time to work
- Assists in other administrative duties and/or ad-hoc projects (as assigned)
- Supports event planning initiatives for the organization
Additional characteristics of the Director of First Impressions:
- Compassionate, enthusiastic, dependable person, with ability to be team leader and team player
- Demonstrates ongoing responsibility and commitment through good attendance and by being on time to work
Mainly M-F, but some Saturday's will be included.
Requirements
- 1 – 2 years of related experience
- Working use of Word, Excel, Power Point, and MS Outlook

- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
