JOB DESCRIPTION

1:1 Nursing Services: To provide medical care and services to students according to physician-prescribed medical care and treatment orders. Responsible for addressing medical emergencies, assessing circumstances, and conditions, and resolving such according to established school procedures and protocols.

Clinic Nurse: Provide first aid and nursing services in a school setting. Responsible for maintaining confidentiality and accurate documentation. Must respond to emergency incidents, assess circumstances and conditions, and then treat appropriately within school guidelines and protocols.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Earned a two-year associate degree in nursing (ASN) or a four-year bachelor’s degree in nursing (BNS)
• Certification in Basic Life Support
• Must possess and maintain a valid Florida Department of Health LPN/RN license
• Current continuing education required by the state
