If you like to make big rock into small rock, this is the ideal job for you. Washington Rock Quarries is looking for a full-time Rock Crusher Plant Operator familiar with cone crushers and dedicated to operating and maintaining a multi-stage aggregate crushing plant.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform daily equipment and site inspection to identify and correct any unsafe conditions and keep equipment properly maintained.
• Safely and properly perform maintenance on crushers, screen decks, and conveyors, including screen changes and routine maintenance.
• Safely and properly operate crushing plant including screens, wash plant, and conveyors.
• Communicate effectively with others verbally, listening, and written.
• Self-motivated, team player, with good interpersonal skills; ability to maintain positive and respectful relations with others.
• Proven experience handling multiple projects and priorities while maintaining tight deadlines; highly organized with attention to detail.
• Accurately complete crushing reports and other documentation as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Experience/Skills:

• Able to follow directions and work as a team player, at times with little supervision.
• Track record of safety and an attention to detail.
• Experience operating a crushing plant preferred
• MSHA training a plus

Education/Requirements:

• Rock Crusher Experience a plus
• Proper paperwork to document that you are authorized to work in the US
• Pass Pre-employment drug test and background check

Physical Demands:

• Working hours may exceed 10-hour shifts, M-F and most Saturdays.
• This job requires working with your hands, lifting heavy objects.
• This job requires working in elevated areas and equipment.
• This job requires working outside in all kinds of weather.
• Attention to Safety when working on and around mining equipment and moving machinery.
