The Opportunity

Delaware North Parks and Resorts is hiring a full-time Sales Coordinator to join our team at Squire Resort at Grand Canyon in Tusayan, Arizona. As a Sales Coordinator, you will partner with clients, guests, and our food and beverage teams to create and execute events for our guests at Squire Resort at Grand Canyon.

Minimum pay rate: $18.00 / hour

Responsibilities

  • Review guest event requests and requirements and determine the next steps to take.
  • Work with the Sales Manager to create long-term planning and execution of event arrangements.
  • Partner with the food and beverage department at the property to organize the catering needs of events.
  • Coordinate and host event rehearsals; ensure effective communication between all relevant departments at the property.
  • Conduct a pre-and post-event briefing to ensure all departments understand the standards of the event.
  • All other duties assigned.

Qualifications

  • Between 1 to 3 years’ experience in hospitality, sales or related field preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products including Word and Excel.
  • Outstanding interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of property management and reservation systems preferred.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods of time.
  • Ability to bend, stoop, and kneel.
  • Ability to lift, balance, and move up to 35 lbs.
