School Bus Driver Job at Whittemore-Prescott Area Schools
Job DescriptionWhittemore-Prescott Area Schools is seeking applicants for the position of bus driver. Minimum CDL Lic. Type: C, B with Endorsements: P, S, and Air Brakes desirable, but willing to train.
Drives bus to transport students over specified routes according to time schedule. Complies with traffic regulations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Drives a school bus safely and professionally.
Performs and properly completes daily pre-trip inspections.
Complies with all traffic ordinances.
Complies with discipline polices set forth in the School Code of Conduct for Transportation.
Participates in on-site trainingShows proficiency in handling and maneuvering school bus.
Supervises students while transporting them.
Other opportunities periodically arise for part time cooks or lunch/recess attendants in between routes that can be applied to for full time hours.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Prescott, MI 48756: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
Experience:
- School bus driving: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- Driver's License (Preferred)
- CDL (Preferred)
