Security Dispatcher - Full time (48 hours)

We are looking to fill positions which includes weekends, graveyards and holidays

This position is located on-site in Salt Lake City, Utah

About this Role:

Ready Alliance Protection Group is seeking an experienced Security Dispatcher to join our expanding group of businesses.

As a Security Dispatcher, you will answer and triage incoming calls as well as monitor security cameras to then relay and dispatch the appropriate members of the security and/or management team.

Responsibilities

• Process incoming phone calls from Officers, managers and/or clients
• Coordinates response and delivery of received information to field staff
• Dispatches and deploys staff, vehicles and/or units based on communication received
• Adeptly uses multi-line telephone system, mobile phones, two-way radios and other communications and networks
• Monitor and review security camera footage and relay appropriate alerts
• Answer emergency and non-emergency phone calls from employees, clients and supervisors and dispatch appropriate personnel including but not limited to law enforcement, fire or EMS.
• Maintains calm communication with and provides instruction (such as first-aid guidance) to incoming callers
• Ensure critical information coming from clients or management is distributed to field supervision.

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ideal candidate shall be self-motivated and able to work alone as well as on a team
• Acclimated to multi-tasking, including answering phones and radios
• Ability to perform under stressful circumstances
• Read and speak English fluently

Requirements

• 1+ years of relevant experience as a security dispatcher or similar role

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk, looking at computer and television monitors and working with dispatching equipment
• Hearing: Perceiving the nature of sounds at normal speaking levels with or with- out correction, and having the ability to receive detailed information through oral communication, and making fine discriminations in sound
• Talking: Expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word; those activities where detailed or important spoken instructions must be conveyed to other workers accurately, loudly, or quickly
• Repetitive motions: Making substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers
• The worker is required to have visual acuity to monitor security cameras and perform other functions of the job
