Security Officer Job at Denali Universal Services
JOB SUMMARY
Under the supervision of the Security Director officer(s) will assist in the screening of passengers boarding a non-commercial airline, conduct follow-up investigations into prohibited item discoveries, interview individuals concerning travel and screening issues, and other related duties as assigned. These duties are performed at the Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport.
REQUIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- One (1) year of similar or related work experience
- Must be at least 19 years of age
- High School Diploma/GED certificate
- Valid driver’s license
- Able to obtain a Security Identification Display Area (SIDA) badge upon hire
- Possess or be able to attain State of Alaska Unarmed Security Guard license before starting work.
- Good job performance/work history
- Good public relations/communication skills
- Able to proficiently speak, read, understand, and write English
- Must be able to pass an initial background check (public records)
- Complete a telephonic screening interview with a Denali Universal Services Human Resources Recruiter to determine suitability for further consideration
