Key responsibilities are to include, but are not be limited to:

Working alongside the President to manage cashflows, ensuring that the working capital needs of the group, and each entity, are met.

Working alongside the accounting staff to ensure all transactions, related to treasury, general ledger, receivables, sales, payables, commissions and payroll are properly entered, processed, approved, maintained and reported.

Producing financial statements, in compliance with U.S. GAAP as follows:

  • Monthly financial statements (at a minimum comprising a balance sheet and Profit and Loss statement), for the Mass and Ecru entities.
  • Quarterly financial statements for the Insieme, Aeria, and Skyfield entities.
  • Quarterly group financial statements (comprising all the aforementioned entities).

Analyzing financial statements produced to identify trends and variances significant to management. Tracking financial statements produced to any budgets and /or comparative financial results.

Responsible for supervising, training and reviewing the work performed by accounting personnel.

Assisting with

  • The development and maintenance of a system of internal control pertaining to the finance function.
  • The preparation of a policies and procedures manual pertaining to the accounting department.
  • Creating better operating efficiencies and better streamlining duties within the accounting department.

Preparing or coordinating the preparation of all quarterly, monthly and/or annual tax filings and reports including but not limited to payroll tax, business tax and sales tax filings (in the necessary states and if relevant, countries) in addition to federal and state income tax filings of the entities, as applicable.

Along with other members of the accounting department, responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of vendor contracts, terms and records.

Working alongside professional service providers such as insurance agents, payroll processors, HR advisors, outside accounting, tax and legal advisors, real estate and general consultants.

Other duties

Other finance, administrative and human resource, duties as required.

Ad-hoc projects as requested by the President .

Assistance with the maintenance of personal financial records of the President, if requested.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
