Senior Financial Analyst Job Summary:
The Financial Analyst is responsible for being a valuable business partner to all departments within the organization. Individuals demonstrate astute analytical judgment and the ability to apply critical thought processes and develop solutions. The position compiles, analyzes, and reports information and assists in providing insight to senior management in support of the achievement of Company goals. Position reports to the Assistant Controller.
Key Responsibilities:
· Evaluate financial performance by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans, budgets, and forecasts across multiple operation segments within the company
· Interprets operating results and make recommendations to multiple business partners for improvement on key deliverables
· Integrate into operational teams to understand the business that helps you analyze operational success
· Maintain or create reporting tools and dashboards to provide concise financial information
· Analyze key performance indicators to provide financial perspective
· Participate in process improvement movements both internal and external to Finance/Accounting to identify and eliminate non-value-added activities
· Assist in annual budget and forecast preparation
Skills & Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (preferred) or Finance
· 5-8+ years of experience in Accounting or Finance: operations or manufacturing experience preferred
· Excellent analytical skills with a strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail
· Effective communication skills and high confidence in stating professional opinions
· Advanced Excel skills, experience with Microsoft Office. Familiarity with Power BI is a plus
· Hands on ERP experience. SAP/BPC experience is a plus
