We are building the next generation of Data/Analytics and Machine Learning driven products and features for our B2B portfolio. We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer (Full Stack Analytics) who has a combination of full stack skills including front end UI UX, Middleware/API, and sound fundamental knowledge of back end Database systems (SQL).
You are familiar with Analytics solutions both via custom JavaScript (e.g. Angular, React) and commercial off the shelf business intelligence tools (Looker, Power BI etc). You are comfortable developing across the tiers and have worked with larger back end DB platforms (RDBMS, NoSQL, Columnar, etc).
You are a creative thinker who can map high level functional requirements to components that result in a great user experience. You have a working understanding of software development processes and comfortable navigating from idea/inception to data processing to ultimately engineering production grade solutions.
As an Analytics (Full Stack) Software Engineer you will work alongside product managers, data engineers, and data scientists to bring to life highly usable Analytics solutions (dashboards, web components) which enrich our B2B AR suite of products.
What You'll Do:
- Develop full stack solutions including front end components leveraging a combination of custom JS frameworks and COTS products and well defined Middleware/APIs which leverage our various back end DBs (RDBMS, Snowflake, Druid, etc.)
- Develop modular components that can scale across containerized platforms (Docker, K8s)
- Design middleware and a metadata layer that is flexible to be re-used across multiple consumers (APIs, Dashboard UI, etc)
- Directly assist with data analysis, design approach, functional mapping of business needs to data model and pipeline
- Work alongside UIUX design team, functional SMEs, PM/Scrum teams to ensure efficient execution/delivery per roadmap plans
- Ensure solutions are designed for performance, scalability, and production stability.
- Automate processes to optimize, alert, and ensure quality and consistency.
- Define flexible standards and framework for cross-tier components (front end UIUX, middleware/API, etc.) while being keenly aware of enterprise security, compliance, and scale needs.
- Familiarity with Docker/Kubernetes, Linux, Git, Jenkins, and modern CI/CD pipelines
What You'll Bring to the Team:
- Bachelor's Degree preferably in Computer Science, Engineering, or similar discipline.
- 5+ years foundational software engineering experience across front end, API/Middleware and back-end development methodologies supporting production grade enterprise systems.
- 4+ years' experience with Java, JavaScript, GraphQL/REST APIs, SQL
- 4+ years' experience building highly scaled distributed solutions for high concurrency as well as performance.
- 3+ years' experience with design of containerized and distributed solutions using Kubernetes/Docker and implementation of DevOPS
- Experience across SQL and NoSQL databases and ability to adapt via fundamental understanding of SQL and data/application concepts
- Familiarity with Docker/Kubernetes, Linux, Git, Jenkins, and modern CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with Finance/Fintech a plus
SALARY RANGE BELOW FOR COLORADO BASED APPLICANTS ONLY
Target Base Compensation: $120,000.00 - $140,000.00 (bonus offered in addition to base compensation)

Billtrust intends to offer the selected candidate base pay within this range, dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience and location.
