Summary:

The primary job of the Detailer is to provide complete erection and shop drawings of all fabricated members with a complete bill of materials, including a list of field fastens and miscellaneous items using applicable detailing standards and software.

Essential Functions:

• Follow and Support all TTI/FSS Company Safety Policies.

• Confirm all contract drawings are in the job folder.

• Develop all drawing logs in Fabsuite.

• Create all transmittals for drawings distribution outside of the company.

• Work with Prefabrication Manager for drawing distribution.

• Work with Operations Coordinators for drawing distribution to the shops and printing drawings for the shops.

• Work with Detailing and Project Managers to input bill of materials into Fabsuite and coordinate and manage others to complete these tasks.

• Work with Project Managers and QC for RFI and NCR logging and tracking.

• Perform red line drawing revisions, detailing on API tanks and +small shop projects.

• Set up FTP and drop box sites as needed for projects by working with Project Managers and others as needed.

• Ability to work with a team under pressure and on tight schedules

Additional Duties:

• Additional responsibilities or duties may be required as needed in support of company operations.

Qualifications:

• To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty above average and always represent the company in a professional manner. The requirements listed are representative of the minimum knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

• Knowledge of construction practices, AISC requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Autodesk AutoCAD

• 5+ years of experience in Autodesk Inventor (or SolidWorks).

• 5+ years of experience with structural steel detailing.

• 5+ years of experience with storage tanks

• AmeTank experience is a plus

• Comprehension and ability to read drawings, redlines, welding symbols, etc.
• General Microsoft Office 365 experience

• Highly organized and committed to producing accurate and complete work

• College education or Detailing certification and 5 years of experience in a related field or equivalent is required.

Education and/or Experience:

• Associates Degree in related field and a minimum of 3+ years of field experience
