Job Description
Primary Purpose
Responsible for accurately recording all orders, in addition to assisting with loading and unloading of product to and from Coolers and Trailers.
Job Requirements & Qualifications:
Must follow directions and complete tasks given by Supervisor or Line Leader
Must be able to speak, read and comprehend English words and numbers
Must be able to write English words and numbers accurately and clearly
Must be able to keep accurate records and fill out load sheets for product being loaded on trailers
Must be certified to operate powered equipment (forklift & pallet jack) or able to become certified.
Must be computer literate and knowledgeable of basic functions and operations
Will be required to work in cold and hot conditions
Will be required to assist with loading and unloading of Trailers
Will be trained as a backup person to work in the coolers as a forklift driver, and outside as Yard Dog driver
Will be trained as a backup line leader
Job Functions:
Scan and record inventory tickets on pallets before placing product onto trailers (scanning orders)
Transporting product safely to and from the storage coolers and onto trailers
Clean trailers using high pressure hose system
Employee will need to periodically clean shipping dock floor of any loose debris and monitor for any condensation build-up.
Will be involved in lifting at times.
Will be trained to operate ERP Scanning System and computer terminal
Will be required to assist with employee sales
Physical Requirements:
Will be required to work in Cold, wet conditions
Must be able to lift up to 40lbs
