IMC is currently hiring a Shipping & Receiving Clerk/Supply Coordinator, who under the general supervision of the Materials Manager, applies the proper skills to effectively complete job duties. Organizes and operates the shipping and receiving area and its related functions and systems in an efficient and effective manner. Effectively interacts with most employees and all directors/managers throughout the hospital. Must also be able to interact in a positive manner with fellow employees.
EDUCATION
- High School Diploma
TRAINING/EXPERIENCE
- General computer experience
- On the job training
- Ability to solve problems
JOB KNOWLEDGE
- Computer experience
- Shipping and Receiving functions
- Organizational skills
PRINCIPLE TASKS, DUTIES, AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Receive freight and deliver to destination on a daily basis
- Ship any outgoing freight on a daily basis
- Have signature sheets signed on all deliveries
- Call companies with delivery discrepancies
- Place incoming stock on shelves
- Keep a clean and neat area
- Enter all incoming freight into computer on a daily basis
- File all closed purchase orders when necessary
- Keep Receiving purchase order bin updated
- Label Fixed Assets
- Returns
- Assist in SPD as needed
- Assist the Materials Manager as needed
