MalaceHR is seeking an Site Manager for a direct hire position at an automotive facility in Flint, MI. Ideal candidate with have previous Operations/Facility/Maintenance Manager experience in a Facility Management environment.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Requires at least 5 years of experience in maintenance trades (heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning (HVAC), plumbing, electrical)
- Requires at least 2 years of experience in a management/operations role
JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsible for developing and executing custodial and maintenance solutions to meet customer needs. Responsible for servicing and/or maintaining a physical location or site to client specifications and financials.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Leadership
- Directs the work of at least two full-time employees or their equivalent
- Makes or influences employment decisions affecting the team, including hiring, promotions, and other changes in status
- Leads, mentors, engages, and develops teams to maximize their contributions, including recruiting, assessing, training, coaching, and managing performance
- Coach employees by creating a shared understanding about what needs to be achieved and how it is to be achieved
- Leverages company's coaching model to engage and develop team members to their fullest potential
- Rewards and recognizes employees
- Ensures individual and all team performance meets objectives and client expectations
- Plans and leads daily team briefings
Client Relationship
- Responsible for developing and executing maintenance solutions to meet customer needs
- Executes facilities maintenance and upkeep following predefined specifications
- Ensure maintenance services appropriately connects to the Executional Framework
- Ensure safety and sanitation standards in all operations are compliant with company and client regulations
- Identifies client needs and communicates operational progress
- Delivers and models WEST as foundation for excellent customer service
Financial Performance
- Ensures the completion and maintenance of profit and loss (P&L) or client budget statements
- Delivers client and company financial targets
- Adopts all processes and systems, understands performance metrics, data, orders, and inventory trends; educate teams on key levers to improve margins
