We’re looking for someone to strategize and execute our social media initiatives for the clients at INTUITIVE SOCIAL. The Social Media Strategist plays an essential role in executing social media strategies and working with our clients to get the best results for their online visibility through content marketing. During your time in this role you will report directly to our CEO and Account Executive. This position is a part-time contract role that will be minimum 25 hours per week and is perfect for someone who is interested in growing professionally in a role that will teach you how to work with multiple industries at a high level.

You will succeed on the team if you lead with a great attitude, bring creativity and a fresh perspective to our team and a can-do attitude to undertake the below responsibilities:

Responsibilities:

  • Track and report on project and campaign results as assigned
  • Participate in weekly meetings with the clients and CEO
  • Create Social Media Content Plan for platforms assigned
  • Create TikTok’s on behalf of our clients
  • Stay on track with assigned client requests to include into the social media strategy in a timely manner
  • Attend and Manage Content Days*
  • Post to social media accounts assigned
  • Engage with followers and content across all social media platforms in alignment with brand voice

Ideal Candidate Characteristics:

  • Experience in Canva and Notion
  • TikTok Experience (Hard Requirement)
  • PST Timezone
  • Lives in or around Los Angeles
  • Experience in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Lightroom) is not required, but a plus
  • Marketing or Business Degree is not required but some college experience is preferred
  • Works efficiently in a collaboration environment
  • Holds themselves accountable to complete tasks before they are due
  • Strong reading and writing skills

Average Timelines:

Client and Team Meetings/Communication (Approximately <1 hour per week)

Content Strategy and Creation (Approximately 8 hours per week)

Metrics Tracking and Reporting (Approximately 1 hour per week)

Social Media Posting & Engagement (Approximately 5 hours per week)

Required Skills:

  • 2+ years of experience
  • College some experience
  • Experience with Canva and Notion
  • 1-2 years of experience in managing and growing a social media following, as well as knowing which trends, brands and creators are producing the most innovative content.
  • An accomplished storyteller who relishes sourcing great business stories and developing original angles that showcase the value of a platform/product/service
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and collaboration skills
  • Numerically literate, comfortable working with numbers, making sense of metrics and processing figures with spreadsheets
  • A sense of aesthetics and a love for great copy and witty communication
  • Availability to work in PST timezone
