Social Worker - Before and After School Program BASES - Part Time Job at EdAdvance
- Provide individual and group counseling to students in the BASES Programs
- Participate as part of a multidisciplinary afterschool team to analyze student data and enhance program supports and operations
- Design and implement IEP and behavior goals to address students social emotional and behavioral skills
- Regularly communicate with families and BASES administration to optimize students functioning across all settings
- Identify students needing support and provide families with appropriate services/interventions
- Maintain child records including but not limited to writing reports and evaluations
- Willingness to travel to different after school/summer program sites in Western Connecticut
- Other duties as may be assigned
- Masters in Social Work
- Experience providing counseling and intervention to youth who are demonstrating emotional regulation/social/ behavioral challenges within a school setting
- Knowledge of special education procedures preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to participate and collaborate with diverse staff
- Regular and consistent attendance is considered an essential function of this position
