RESPONSIBILITIES & EXPECTATIONS:
  • In the context of the procurement transformation program provide support to Category and Sourcing Managers in sourcing initiatives.
  • Develop market intelligence on designated topics.
  • Support the development and implementation of sourcing strategies.
  • Provide in-depth analysis, facilitating decision making on the supplier market approach and supplier selection.
  • Assist in executing benefit/performance tracking
  • Provide analytical support in development of Sourcing Strategy through:
    • Mapping and understanding of supplier market dynamic and challenges
    • Spend analysis
    • Cost modeling and TCO analysis
  • Provide analytical support during Supplier Screening & Selection Process
  • Support Sourcing and Category Managers in developing and implementing Supplier Management Approach and tracking of contract compliance
  • On a regular and continuous basis, exercises business and administrative judgment and assumes responsibility for decisions, consequences, and results having an impact on people, costs, and/or quality of service, both on control and planning matters.
  • Assists in the analysis of data, extracts and defines relevant information; interprets data for the purpose of determining past performance and/or to project probability.
  • Uses various software applications, such as spreadsheets, relational databases, statistical packages, and graphics packages to assemble, manipulate and/or format data and/or reports.
  • Knows the formal and informal departmental goals, standards, policies and procedures which may include some familiarity of other departments within the group. Is sensitive to the interrelationship of both people and functions within the department.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to write business reports and conduct presentations regarding conclusions and recommendations to support the decision-making.

  • Excellent PC skills with emphasis on IT analytical tools, data base, some knowledge of ERP systems.

Required Experience:
1-3 years
Required Education: Bachelor’s Degree in related field.
