Summary:
Sunoco LP is the largest wholesale fuel supplier in the U.S. One segment of our business is the supply of fuel directly to individual gas station operators and supplying fuel to distributors. The Sunoco Sales and Account Management teams are actively engaged in signing new customers and renewing or extending supply agreements with existing customers. In general, the Sr. Specialist Operations Support role is responsible for supporting the process of setting up new or changing customers. The person in this role is responsible for providing project management support for various team or department initiatives. This role is also responsible for managing vendors supporting Sunoco programs including, but not limited to, Sunoco Light Duty fleet vehicles and Mystery Shop Programs.
Essential Functions:
- Responsible for recommending process improvements that result in more timely and accurate customer setup results
- Oversee cross functional workflow queues for dozens of internal service providers to complete the full customer setup process and ensures everything from brand image conversion to accurate first fuel invoice to Sunoco B2B portal and credit card processing setup.
- Serve as a project manager for sales and account management for various projects to enhance systems or workflows
- Be a main point of contact for Sunoco Light duty fleet, communicating initiatives, strategies and providing data to management for all fleet vehicles
- Proactively manage our Vehicle Vendor to ensure we are getting timely maintenance and reporting on Sunoco’s Light Duty Fleet.
- Responsible for managing Sunoco’s Mystery Shop program, communicating changes both internally and to customers, working closely with our vendor to ensure timely data delivery of shops.
- Identify technical process gaps and efficiencies that can be gained with enhancements by working collaboratively with various key teams and IT
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
- At least two years of business, project management and/or vendor management experience
Preferred Skills:
- Experience using Salesforce, SAP, Smartsheet and Microsoft Office Suite. PowerBI experience a plus
- Detail oriented: should be meticulous about data accuracy across multiple systems
- Strong oral and written communication skills: should be comfortable interacting with individuals across different departments and different levels within the organization
- Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining organization and timely completion of projects
- Self-directed with the ability to work with little supervision
Required experience is commensurate with the selected job level:
- The Specialist/Analyst level requires a Bachelor’s degree and 2-5 years of relevant job related experience
- The Senior Specialist/Analyst level requires a Bachelor’s degree and 5-8 years of relevant job related experience
- The Lead Specialist/Analyst level requires a Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of relevant job related experience

- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time due to prolonged periods of sitting or standing.
- Occasional overnight travel may be required.
- Occasional visits to industrial/manufacturing settings, which may include exposure to various materials and chemicals, as well as extreme temperature conditions and loud machinery, and require appropriate personal protective equipment.
