Therapy Matters, Inc. offers individualized, quality care for those with developmental delays and disabilities, offering care primarily in clinic, home and in community-based settings. We also specialize in PEDS and ADULTS in Group Homes as we are one of only a couple companies in Arizona with training that are able to access certain types of Group Homes with the assistance of DDD and several of our other insurance payors. Requirements:

• Associates or Bachelor of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders
• Valid SLPA license with the Arizona Department of Health
• Valid Arizona Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card
• Valid driver's license
• Valid auto insurance and auto registration
• Valid Article 9 training
• Valid CPR Certification
• Able to pass a criminal and sexual offender background check

Required Skills:

• Proficient in Microsoft Office 365, Zoom, and the ability to use an iPhone and iPad.
• Strong understanding of speech therapy and medical terminology.
• Knowledge of ASHA standards and compliance requirements.
• Must be able to utilize electronic therapy software appropriately and accurately.
• Must demonstrate dependable, regular attendance.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Must have good interpersonal skills.
• Must display flexibility and patience. Every client may not have the same difficulties, hence, might not respond to the same therapy procedure.

Desired Skills:

• A minimum of one-year home health experience.
• Prior experience in treating clients from 3 years of age and up with various developmental disabilities.
• Be willing to commit to seeing 25 clients per week, which is considered a full-time caseload.
