SPEECH LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST - FULL-TIME/YEAR-ROUND POSITION BASED OUT OF DODGE CITY, KANSAS WITH TRAVEL TO SURROUNDING COUNTIES

Directly responsible for the origination and implementation of all speech and language objectives included in any Individual Family Service Plan (IFSP), including case management. Assesses communication skills and functional abilities (articulation, fluency, voice, expressive and receptive language, etc.) to determine eligibility for early intervention services. Conducts hearing screenings as part of initial, annual and ongoing assessments and interprets medical reports within the scope of Speech Language Pathologist’s experience.

Minimum Requirements:

Credentials include a Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in speech-language pathology in addition to a current Speech-Language Pathology license from the Kansas Department for Aging and Disability Services (KDADS). Knowledge of Early Childhood Education & Special Needs. Preference may be given to an individual with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (C.C.C.). Valid driver’s license.

Requires substantial knowledge of early childhood education and special needs. Must have the ability to perform basic math, review and interpret highly technical information, write technical materials, and/or speak persuasively to implement desired outcomes and analyze situations to define issues and draw conclusions.
