Orange Tree Staffing is seeking bright and talented Speech-Language Pathologist Assistants to “Build and Inspire Growth” by providing education-based therapy services to students located in Lake Wales, FL

SLPAs will assess students' skills to determine their goals and develop teaching plans to meet them. We are seeking SLPAs who enjoy working with a dedicated team that focuses on life-long learning. RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide Speech / Language Therapy to assigned student caseload as directed by the SLP
• Assist the SLP devising strategies for reinforcing learning materials and skills based on a sympathetic understanding of individual students, their needs, interests, and abilities
• Communicate with classroom teachers, ensuring they have updated IEP information for each of their students who receive speech therapy
• Alert the SLP to any problem or special information about an individual student
• Demonstrate ethical behavior and confidentiality of information about students in school environment and community
• Participate in in-service training programs as approved
• Maintain safe working environment and encourage colleagues to be safety minded in the performance of all school-related duties
• Work well with others by being a collaborative and contributing member of the class/ campus team
• Prepare instructional / therapeutic materials and supplies for therapy use
• Measure and report on student progress and assist with quarterly progress reports

SKILLS | CERTIFICATIONS

• Current FLDOH License
• Completion of Bachelor's Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or related field.
• Enjoys making a positive difference with children
• Experience working with children with various exceptionalities preferred
