In this role, you will lean on your analytical skills and thorough knowledge of general accounting principles to enhance our ability to support the various business units of Amplifon as they continue to grow and evolve. Amplifon helps more than 100+ million people across North America and those numbers continue to rise!

Success Criteria:

Your curiosity will be an asset as you prepare month-end account reconciliations and financial reports. As a subject matter expert in accounting, you will add significant value as Amplifon rolls out new processes and capabilities. You will feel rewarded when your recommendations are implemented and your efforts are recognized.

Are you as comfortable working in teams as you are with numbers? Developing financial reports with key stakeholders will help with short and long-term forecasting. Partnering with our operations and finance functions will ensure a high level of accuracy and effectiveness as you learn the intricacies of our business.

Amplifon is growing fast, so it's common to be analyzing reports, recording entries, and assisting with all areas of the accounting group (e.g. Accounts Receivable and Credit Management, Accounts Payable, Consolidations, Technical Accounting, etc.), all while a leader is asking you questions. A multi-tasking champion who can prioritize is essential to our accounting team and will drive change that impacts our bottom line.

Required Skills:

• BA/BS degree in accounting or related field
• 1+ years of accounting experience required
• General Ledger experience required
• Ability to think critically and challenge the status quo
• Advanced Office skills; able to design Excel workbooks necessary to analyze data and present findings using formulas, lookup, tables, pivot charts, etc.
• Thorough knowledge of general accounting methods, principles, and the ability to apply this knowledge creatively in situations where procedures are not well defined.
• Broad understanding of overall sales, accounts receivable, credit management and inventory transactions
• Effective, professional verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to focus on details and perform functions with accuracy
