We provide world-class marina management and facilities maintenance services to our clients that include varying levels of accounting services. We are a fast pace, high growth organization looking for a Staff Accounting to join our accounting team. This position will provide industry leading accounting services to our clients and Oasis Marinas.
Staff Accountant
The Staff Accountant is responsible for computing, classifying, and calculating the fundamental aspects of a clients financial recordkeeping, including recording financial transactions, managing accounts payable and receivable, cash management, balance sheet reconciliations and financial reporting.
Essential duties and responsibilities

  • Prepare Client financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.
  • Set up, maintain and post daily revenue journals.
  • Reconcile daily cash and research/resolve variances.
  • Process and pay vendor invoices and reconcile vendor statement.
  • Prepare profit and loss, balance sheet and cash flow reports.
  • Complete vendor credit applications.
  • Prepare management reports.
  • Generate annual 1099s.
  • Prepare, file and pay sales & use tax returns.
  • Prepares budget templates and assists with budget preparation.
  • Prepare monthly client invoices.
  • Prepare corporate balance sheet reconciliations, month end journal entries and assists with month end close.

Qualification requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, required.
  • Pending college graduate with degree to 3 years related experience.
  • Ability to read, write and comprehend instructions, correspondence and memos.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to management, clients and other employees of the organization.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusion.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, including the ability to operate computerized accounting systems and Excel.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; high degree of accuracy, attention to detail and confidentiality.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
