Staff Accountant Job at Roessel Joy
An energy company is looking to hire a Staff Accountant to join their team. The ideal candidate for this role has Great Plains experience and has done GL account reconciliation.
Responsibilities:
- Perform bank and credit card reconciliations
- Update financial data in databases to ensure that information will be accurate and immediately available when needed
- Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports
- Assist senior accountants in the preparation of monthly/yearly closings
- Maintain prepaid schedule
- Maintain fixed asset schedule
- Responsible for deferred rent and deferred revenue
- Book journal entries relating to accrued expenses, SGA accruals and others
Qualifications:
- Great Plains experience
- Organizational Skills
- Open to a contract position
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Shrewsbury, MA: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
