Now hiring a Staff Tax Accountant. Spherion of Dublin is now hiring a Staff Tax Accountant to assist their customers in and around Dublin and Laurens County. Our client is looking to hire a Staff Tax Accountant to help prepare stand alone business tax returns, financial statement related tax returns, individual tax returns and some light tax research. The Staff Accountant supports the Firm's goals and values through all professional communication and maintains professional working relationships.

Responsibilities:
Become familiar with the Firm's policies, procedures, manuals, forms and relevant software. Prepare tax returns (business and professional). Prepare working trial balance, adjusting journal entries, tax accruals, and stand alone tax returns. Prepare and reconcile account schedules. Perform light research in taxation, including payroll and sales tax. Adherence of budgets on engagements and can work with supervisors on keeping within those budgets.

Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Skills:
Great communication skills. An understanding of the economics of the A&A business and it's relation to the tax firm. Community involvement. Understanding of critical elements of client care and service. Developing and adhering to personal goals.

Education:
Masters

Experience:
1-4 years

Qualifications:
Bachelors degree and/or Master's degree in Accounting
Licensed CPA
3 or more years of public accounting
