Store & Mailroom Associate Job at Groton School
Groton School is seeking a Part-Time School Store & Mailroom Associate, starting in March 2023. This position is a customer service-oriented team player who assists in managing the daily operations of the School Store and the Mailroom. Duties include running the store register, monitoring and organizing inventory levels, sorting and distributing mail, and handling petty cash transactions.
The hours are:
- 9:30 am – 3:00 pm three days per week when school is in session (September – early June, excluding break periods)
- 9:00 am – 12:00 two out of three Saturdays when school is in session
- Additional hours as needed during Parents’ Weekend, Prize Day, Reunion, and the first two weeks of school
The successful candidate:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong customer service experience and positive attitude who enjoys a fast-paced environment with high school students and adults
- High level of organization and strong communication skills
- Ability to process and accurately record simple financial transactions
- Comfort using computers, including proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel and Word) and Google Apps (especially Forms)
