This position is strictly for a CADC/LCADC. Bilingual Spanish speaking person preferred.

The Bridge is looking to hire YOU! Come join our team of dedicated and hardworking clinicians who provide quality substance use treatment. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who possesses a CADC and/or a LCADC. The clinician will provide screenings, assessments using NJSAMS, individual and group counseling, assists with drug monitoring, psychoeducation, crisis intervention, and case management to individuals who are diagnosed with a substance use disorder. These clinical services will be under the direct supervision of the SUD Director or other senior clinician who possesses a CCS.

This position is responsible for providing screenings, assessments, and facilitating individual and group therapy sessions to meet the needs of the substance use individual and to provide supportive services.

Qualifications and Job Functions

Substance Use 2 years (Required)

CADC/LCADC (Required)

Bi-lingual (fluent in Spanish preferred)

Education

Bachelors and/or Masters in Social Work or Counseling

Experience

Knowledge of 12 –Step Programs

Experience with bio psychosocial and NJSAMS

Experience in conducting individual and group counseling session.

Knowledge of ASAM Criteria and appropriate level of care placement

Excellent Interpersonal & Communication skills

Job Duties

· Conducts assessments and determining level of care using NJSAMS and ASAM Criteria

· Provides individual and group counseling.

· Develops treatment plans, treatment plan reviews and discharge planning.

· Record keeping and collecting program data and entering into electronic health record in a timely manner.

· Attend treatment team meetings on a weekly basis.

· Collaborates with referring agencies such as drug court, DCP&P, Probation, Parole, SAC’s etc.

· Assists with drug screens and monitoring

· Perform therapeutic clinical skills development and interventions

Maintain standards of confidentiality

· Assists clients with appropriate referrals in the community and helps them to become engaged in community recovery services.

Demonstrate competency in the knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary to meet clients’ psychological and social needs.

· Assumes other job related responsibilities and duties as determined by the Substance Use Director and other Clinical Supervisors and management staff· Must conduct oneself in a professional manner at all times with integrity, a commitment to high work standards (CQI, process improvement, etc.) cultural sensitivity & humility, reliability, resilience, fiscal responsibility, and an unwavering commitment to our clients.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $43,000.00 - $52,000.00 per year
