System Engineer I (ONSITE) Beloit Health, Beloit, WI Job at Oracle
This position will join the ITWx team directly supporting Oracle client Beloit Health System and other geographically located clients. The Systems Engineer is responsible for maintaining on-premises and cloud applications, servers, and storage equipment. The position reports to the IT Manager and will be expected to plan, install, configure, and manage all aspects of IT infrastructure to ensure reliable, secure, and cost-effective delivery of services.
Design, configure, deploy, and maintain applications, servers, storage, and network solutions, both on-premises and in the cloud.
Proactively work to improve reliability, stability, and security of the cloud and on-premises environments.
Perform troubleshooting, performance tuning and capacity planning
Provide tier III support
Create and update documentation.
Research and evaluate new hardware and software solutions.
May be required to lift up to 20 lbs., i.e. server, network equipment
Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations
Willing to participate in on-call rotation.
Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position
