As the Talent Acquisition Specialist, you get to lead efforts in finding passionate employees and supporting team members in recruiting efforts. You will be responsible for: online platform management, social media presence, sourcing new candidates, screening and engaging with applicants, community outreach and motivating a staff in their recruiting efforts. Major Responsibilities

Online recruiting platform management – Assure BGCSM has high visibility on major recruiting platforms. Assure all postings are current and have maximize impact. Research and identify new online platforms to market open positions.

Candidate sourcing – Find and bring in candidates using creative and traditional methods. Use traditional online sourcing methodologies, presence at job fairs and developing creative alternative methods to bring in amazing candidates.

Community outreach and partnerships – Assure community presence through postering, using community events (like farmer marketing, evening in the park, etc.) to find potential candidates. Building relationship with colleges, back to work programs and related community partners who can help advance our recruiting efforts.

Staff as recruiter mobilization – Everyone in the organization is responsible for recruiting. Support them in their efforts, assure they have tools, resources, and knowledge on what they can do to support recruiting efforts.

Candidate Screening - Rapidly engage with candidates and assure all viable candidates are processed within 2 days of application.

Skills

Customer service focused – know how to put customers first and skilled in engaging with a wide variety of customers from candidates to staff.

Experienced with on-line recruiting platforms – proven success in managing on line platforms. Must be experienced with Indeed and LinkedIn.

Proven success in high volume recruiting – Priority recruiting is for entry level part-time staff. BGCSM will consistently have 100+ open positions.

Social media – Experienced using online forums for recruiting, such as Instagram and Face Book.

Experience with Applicant tracking Systems – prefer Paylocity.

Do what ever it takes attitude – We are a fast paced environment and constantly review our success and pivot based on what we learn to assure we are building amazing teams.

Requirements:

Bachelors’ Degree in education, communications, human resources, preferred but not required. Course work in human resources preferred.

Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in talent acquisition/entry level staff recruitment, preferably supporting a multi-site organization

Demonstrated ability to achieve recruiting goals of organization

Demonstrated leadership in maintaining positive associate relations

Strong commitment to the goals and philosophy of Boys & Girls Clubs of Sonoma-Marin and the ability to communicate those goals and agency values to Team Members, applicants and community contacts

Commands a working knowledge of HR technology applications/platforms and MS Office to support recruitment, efficient workflows and integration w/other organizational technology.

Travel to affiliate locations, local events with in the Sonoma & Marin Counties, about 35% of time

Must provide own vehicle, have a valid state driver’s license and proof of auto insurance
