About the Role

This position is full time in-office at our Austin, TX location. You will be working with our Product, Customer Success, and Developer teams to create and curate our technical content such as our Help Center, the Concord Academy, training materials and more.

Responsibilities

  • Own and manage Concord’s Help documentation serving Concord customers
  • Own and expand Concord Academy LMS to facilitate customers to self-train
  • Collaborate with Product team to write and update user guides, articles, and online help tools in advance of ongoing product releases
  • Create compelling content for our customers, which spans Concord’s content ecosystem (training, support articles, Concord Academy, etc.)
  • Establish an efficient process for maintaining and updating documentation on an on-going basis
  • Evaluate current content and identify documentation gaps and proactively produce documentation to address shortcomings
  • Be an empathetic customer advocate and generate and organize content to serve the needs of Concord’s broad user base in conjunction with Concord’s Support team
  • Organize and generate material according to set standards regarding order, clarity, conciseness, style, and terminology
  • Weekly share relevant metrics to the leadership team
  • Assist Marketing team with written content, such as social media and blog posts
  • Assist with Concord’s API and/or Developer documentation

Requirements

  • Local to Austin, Texas - this role is in office
  • Fluent in English - Concord only targets English-speaking customers
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills including the ability to present content concepts clearly
  • Proven ability to build collaborative, trusting, cross-functional relationships across the organization
  • Bachelor’s degree in Technical Writing, English, Communications, related field and/or equivalent work experience
  • 3+ years of professional experience creating approachable software documentation (User Guides, FAQs, other training tools)
  • Familiarity with the Zendesk platform and WorkRamp LMS
  • Technically savvy and able to master software quickly
  • Excellent deadline management skills
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple writing assignments simultaneously
  • Detail oriented and able to maintain high standards of style and writing (grammar, spelling, syntax, diction, punctuation, and company voice)

Nice to have

  • Experience in the B2C or B2B SAAS space
  • Experience using or creating documentation for document and/or contract management systems
  • Experience using or creating documentation for version control systems
  • Experience diagramming technical concepts
  • Experience writing API and/or Developer documentation

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 per year
