Position Summary:
The Tele counseling Therapist is primarily responsible for the provision of individual, youth, and family therapeutic services via live-interactive videoconferencing. The Therapist may work with at-risk youths, transitioning back into the community from placement, by providing individuals and family therapeutic services to prevent re-placement. The therapist will also work with individuals or families utilizing their insurance to access convenient, affordable, and readily accessible mental health services. The Therapist conducts assessments; develops treatment plans; and works collaboratively with outside agencies.

Job Responsibilities:

• Conducts intake assessments, including gathering data from parents, children, probation officers, and other relevant sources.
• Utilizes diagnostic and assessment information to develop preliminary and comprehensive treatment plans in collaboration with the client.
• Coordinates the case to provide support, linkage, and reporting to the collaterals involved in therapy
• Provides short-term therapeutic telehealth counseling to children, at-risk youth, individuals, and families throughout Texas.

• An online booking website, with the capability for your schedule to be set and adjusted as needed, where clients can schedule appointments and you can minimize no-shows

Qualifications:

• Must have Texas licensure as a LPC, LCSW, or LMFT
• Must exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency with technology, as well as comfort with distance-based management of clients
• Ability to speak Spanish is preferred but not required.
