DESCRIPTION

The Customer Service Representative handles calls for the organization by greeting callers, establishing the reason for calling, and resolving issues promptly while maintaining a professional attitude. The Customer Service Representative ensures a high level of customer satisfaction is always maintained.


DUTIES

  • Answer and route a high volume of inbound calls while providing quality service to Costa Farms’ customers.
  • Data entry and research as required to resolve customer inquiries and complaints in a timely manner.
  • Route calls to appropriate department or team member as needed.
  • Provide delivery information to customers.
  • Record Proof of Deliveries/Bill of Ladings.
  • Assist the Credit & Claims Department with calls regarding general credit request inquiries.
  • Maintain a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude towards customers at all times.
  • Participate in additional Costa Experience team initiatives and key deliverables as needed.


QUALIFICATIONS


  • High School Diploma, general education degree, or equivalent
  • Bilingual - fluent English and Spanish verbal communication skills are required.
  • 1 year of experience working in customer support.
  • Ability to maintain a calm attitude when customers are stressed or upset.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel is required.
