The Territory Service Manager (TSM) is responsible for overseeing a significant portion of our business by ensuring our Route Service team provides excellent service that exceeds the expectations of our customers in his/her assigned territory. The Territory Service Manager is also responsible for identifying route efficiencies, partnering with customers to ensure Dempsey is appropriately servicing their business needs and full people management for a team of Route Service professionals. This includes hiring, training, coaching and performance management. An important part of the TSM role is identifying and developing talent within his/her team in order to prepare others for various positions of responsibility within Dempsey.

Qualifications:

In order to be considered for this opportunity, you must:

• Have previous supervisory/management experience in a customer-facing function (2-3 years' experience is strongly preferred)
• Strong communication and coaching skills
• Have a proven track record of outstanding route service, leadership and teamwork
• The ability to speak to performance metrics (who, when, how)
• Have the ability to learn and successfully service/manage all types of routes and accounts
• Have demonstrated the ability to be conscientious, self-motivated and persistent in resolving potential problems before they impact the customer
• Possess strong problem solving and decision making skills
• Be attentive to detail and adept to change
• Must have proficient computer and internet skills
• Flexibility to work early mornings, early evenings and/or occasional weekend days
• Not be on any level of warning
