This is an in-person on campus, non-remote position.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist ORSP staff with scheduling, calendar management, file/document collection and organization, and office correspondence
  • Help with planning, preparation, and execution of all office-led events, programs, and initiatives Responsible for special projects as assigned
  • Performs other related jobs as required
  • Conduct research to locate grant opportunities and assist with circulating grant opportunities to faculty
  • Author cover letters and other supplemental documentation for proposal submissions and post-award stewardship
  • Aid with grant proposal preparation, submission/processing, legal review, and post-award management
  • Attend meetings with ORSP and IRB leadership and take notes to record meetings
  • Assist IRB Chair with scheduling, file maintenance, calendar maintenance, and other duties as required
  • Provide support and record keeping to research committees as needed
  • Assist with data entry and database management across multiple databases
  • Assist in managing and tracking the department’s budget, purchase cards and related materials and processes

Qualifications:
  • Graduated from an accredited college with a Bachelor's degree
  • Superior customer service skills and phone manner. Ability to work as self-starter independently and multi-task when needed

NOTE:

  • Applicants who do not possess the required education may substitute experience on a year for year basis.
  • Applicants who possess an Associate's degree may substitute two (2) years of position-related experience for the remaining two (2) years of education
