Job Scope
Maintain and prepare all tooling needed for production. Organize and be able to locate any and all dies, sizers, guides, fit metals, and fixtures necessary for production. Keep detailed master copies of all die checklists for future set-ups/tear-downs.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS (Functions essential to attaining job objectives):
● Ability to work at a fast pace when needed.
● Ability to clean tooling without damaging the components in any way
● Ability to use all equipment needed in cleaning tooling, storing tooling and fabricating tubes, heater bands, etc.
● Receive verbal directions from others regarding work assignments to be performed.
● Perform work orders and maintain all documentation related to the work order system.
● Order and request quotes on parts needed to maintain production equipment.

NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (Marginal tasks performed on this job):
● Maintain an orderly and clean work area and maintain machine tools.
● Promote safety.
● Must be able to interact with employees in a professional manner at all times.

JOB STANDARDS (Minimum qualifications needed to perform essential job functions):
● Must be able to stand for a minimum of ten hours.
● Must be able to lift work-in-process which could weigh between 50 to 100 pounds.
● Able to carry 50 pounds.
● Able to push die carts weighing 100 to 200 pounds.
● Good vision required for cleaning dies

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS (Needed to perform this job specifically):
● Excellent at receiving verbal directions from others regarding operations and assignments to be performed. Good at referring to work orders, drawings, manuals, conversion tables and similar source information.
● Excellent motor skills (hand/eye coordination) are necessary for the use of equipment used on this job.
● All education, diplomas, certificates, experience, etc. will be reviewed and utilized in determining grade level.

BR Tool Crib Attendant
EQUIPMENT (Machines, devices, tools, personal protective equipment, etc. used on this job):
Surface grinders, tool grinders, drill press, horizontal and vertical band saws, basic hand tools, steel toed shoes, safety glasses, ear protection.

JOB LOCATION/ENVIRONMENT/SURROUNDINGS:
All manufacturing and distribution facilities. Noise levels require the use of ear protection. Due to noise levels, verbal communications may, at times, be difficult. Die shop is air conditioned. Floor is concrete with no floor covering.

TESTING (What tests are required to determine skill levels):
Have good time management skills. Must be able to prioritize tasks in order to ensure the most important get completed as quick as possible.
