Where You Will Work
Consolidated Aerospace Manufacturing (CAM) is the primary division of Stanley Black & Decker Aerospace. We are a leading innovator and strategic partner in the manufacturing of fasteners, fittings, and engineered products for the aerospace, defense, and industrial markets. CAM is currently comprised of nine subsidiaries across the United States split among three segments.

Position Scope:
In this role, you will polish and finish various metals such as carbide, T-15, and others using a variety of tools like speed lathes, polishing sticks, and polishing cloths.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Use manufacturing paperwork (travelers, blueprints, sketches, etc.) to:

• Polish and finish various metals such as carbide, T-15, and others.
• Use a Speed Lathe as well as polishing sticks, polishing cloths, and various diamond compounds to achieve a mirror like finish on carbide and T15 pins and punches.
• Examine workpieces for defects and measure workpieces with straightedges or templates to ensure conformance with specifications.

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION REQUIRED:

• 2+ years of polishing experience in an Aerospace tooling environment
• Experience with Carbide and T15 metals
• Experience with Speed Lathes, polishing sticks, and polishing cloths.
• Ability to read/interpret blueprints.

Pay Range
$15.50 to $19.00
